Hey there, future family! I'm Wally, and let me tell you, I'm all about the love, snuggles, and affection. What I am not about is hot weather—it turns my hair into a wild mess! But give me a cool day and a backyard stick to play with, and I'm in doggy heaven. Bird-watching is another one of my hobbies. I’m a happy, gentle giant who hardly barks, and I’m house-trained.
I've met other dogs in a backyard meet-and-greet (off-leash), and I passed with flying colours. The other dogs had great energy, like they’d been sipping on pup-accinos all day. I did pretty well with them. But, full disclosure, I am a leash-reactive diva. I need a strong owner who can handle my leash theatrics and is committed to working with me so I can be the best version of myself. If only I could see them the same way I see cats. Those creatures are simply underwhelming: they’re just not that exciting to me. One of our cats here likes to sniff my face—no biggie - I just let it happen.
I’m the affectionate, goofy type who loves to be around my humans. I’m gentle with kids and love their energy. My past hasn’t been a walk in the park, but you’d never know it. I’m as lovely as they come. Ready to fall in love? I’m your gal, Wally!
