HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS OUR PETS

Ace - Copy

Every dollar you donate to the It Takes a Village Dog Rescue helps ensure we can provide the necessary care for any dog in need of re-homing and a second chance at loving. We are a registered charity (#760282608RR0001), so all monetary donations over $20 are eligible for a tax receipt.

For every dollar donated, 100% goes  towards the cost of care of the dogs we have in foster home. From the basics like vaccinations and medications, to specialty surgery for those like Ace, Jade, Gus and many others, who came to us with extensive health concerns.

It Takes a Village Dog Rescue is a Canadian community of supporters and volunteers passionate about making a difference to the lives of dogs in need and keeping them out of harm's way. The dogs come to us for various reasons from strays and shelters, to changes in their owner's life that may include the death of the owner. We also work with rescue partners to rescue many dogs in need in remote northern communities.

Thank you so much for being part of it!
