Hi, I’m Amber! I’m playful, cuddly, and, yes, a bit squirmy when I'm feeling extra excited (LOL)! I absolutely love eating (who doesn’t?), playing with my toys, going on walks, napping, and although I love to play with other dogs, I am making friends with my foster family’s cat. I’m happiest when I’m near my people, soaking up all their love.
While at home, I have a few instinctive duties I fulfill on a daily basis. One of which, is quality control. Where I promptly follow my nose to the kitchen to offer my second opinion on taste-testing duties. Another is officer on duty. This is an important role because I let out a bark, to alert you someone is coming to the door. Lastly, and this one is the most fun of all my duties, I am a natural entertainer. I keep them laughing with my quirky little grumbles, groans, and snorts. They also say I have “happy paws” because I do a joyful little spin whenever I’m super excited!
When meeting new people – patience is key. Once I know I can trust you, I’ll be your best friend for life. I get even more excited when you get down on my level and tell me I'm a good girl. After that, it is all butt wiggles and tail wags.
