Fozzie is a sweet and gentle dog who has had a difficult start in life, and he’s still learning to trust the world around him. Though he’s incredibly shy and fearful at first, Fozzie is slowly making progress, and his journey to healing is one we’re deeply committed to.
Fozzie has been through a lot, and as a result, he’s still very afraid of new people, places, and experiences. He’s not quite sure who to trust just yet, but with patience, love, and understanding, he is working hard to build that trust. Fozzie is the kind of dog who needs a quiet, calm environment, free of stress and loud noises, where he can feel safe and begin to blossom at his own pace.
He may be shut down and withdrawn at first, but with time and gentle encouragement, Fozzie shows his true heart. He is a sweet soul who is just waiting for the right person to show him that the world can be a kind and loving place. He needs a forever home that is ready to give him the space he needs to adjust and the love he needs to thrive.
Fozzie will do best in a home with a patient, understanding owner, ideally with experience working with shy or fearful dogs. Another calm and well-adjusted dog in the household could help him gain confidence, but he would also be fine as the only pet.
If you’re someone who can offer Fozzie the time, patience, and unconditional love he deserves, he will slowly begin to reveal the sweet, loving companion he is at heart. Fozzie just needs someone who believes in him, even when he doesn’t quite believe in himself.
