Let me just start by saying: I’m ridiculously sweet. Like, kiss-you-right-on-the-nose-before-you’ve-had-coffee sweet.
But here’s the truth—getting to that sweetness takes time. When I meet new people, I’m not just shy... I’m scared. Like, full-body trembles and “please don’t come near me” scared. I need a patient, gentle human who’ll let me come around at my pace. It took me a few days to trust my foster mom—and now? I follow her like a fluffy little shadow.
Once I let you in, I really let you in. I’m a classic Chihuahua: intense loyalty, dramatic cuddles, and the belief that I belong in your lap forever.
Also, I have a tiger toy—and we’re basically in a committed relationship. I carry him around everywhere. We’ve been through a lot together, okay?
My daily schedule is breakfast, meds, and full-blown toy chaos. I zoom, I squeak, I nap. Repeat. After the kids go to bed, it’s snuggle time.
I’m great with other dogs, big or small, and I even play with the cats—in a fun way, I swear. Another dog around would be awesome to help show me the ropes, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
I’m fully housetrained and totally cool with my crate. When you leave, I’ll do a tiny dramatic “nooooo” howl, but then I settle in. Apartment living might work, as long as you don't mind a little goodbye serenade.
Apartment living might be okay, depending on how you feel about a little goodbye serenade.
Walks are not my thing. I’m a chihuahua, not a sled dog. I’ll strut a few houses down the street and then request a ride back, thank you very much.
At night, I’m all yours. Couch, lap, blanket fort. If you make it, I will come. Cuddling is not optional.
Health-wise, I take seizure meds twice a day, no biggie. I haven’t had a seizure in foster care, but my forever family should be comfortable with the routine and know what to do—just in case.
If you're calm, kind, and cool with earning my trust instead of expecting it right away, you'll get the best reward: a loyal, ridiculous, squeaky-toy-obsessed cuddle goblin with the world’s best nose kisses.
