Hi, I’m Louie, your treat-loving, head-tilting little shadow! My favourite things in life are food, following you everywhere, and learning new tricks (especially if snacks are involved). I’ll do just about anything for a liver treat—but watch out, I’ve got a sneaky side when it comes to food. My meals should be measured so I don’t get too chunky, and I’ll definitely try to swipe a bite from any doggy friends, so supervised mealtimes are a must!
I love other dogs and lean on them for comfort, but I’m also happy to play solo or with my humans. I have learned that it makes my foster mom happy when I give kisses on command, but I’m not a big cuddler unless I’m sleepy. I’ll always be right at your feet though—literally. (Fair warning: I’m a bit of a trip hazard!) I’m working hard on potty training, though pee pads still confuse me, and my little legs don’t need much exercise—just a good zoomie session or two.
One thing to know: I have some big opinions about being in my crate, so apartment living isn’t ideal unless you’re home most of the time. But if you’ve got patience, love, and a soft spot for a curious, food-motivated pup, I’ll be your loyal little companion. Let’s make snack time (and life) amazing together!
