Riley must be the only dog in the home, and does not like cats.
Meet Riley, the 5-year-old Black Standard Schnauzer who is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch)! Riley is an energetic ball of love who would prefer to stay on the go – especially if it involves a walk or two. She’s a pro on the leash and would be thrilled to join a family that enjoys outdoor adventures. While she’s still perfecting her indoor potty skills (sometimes she forgets, but don’t we all?), she’s a fast learner and just needs a little patience and understanding.
Riley would love to be your one and only fur-child! She likes her personal space, and let’s face it, she’s too fabulous to share the spotlight. She’s been great with kids, though, so if you have little ones, she’ll happily be their personal snuggle buddy (when she’s not off on her next walk, of course). When it comes to sleeping, Riley is a queen – she loves having her own space and refuses to settle for a crate. A cozy spot to call her own is all she needs to snooze the night away.
Riley’s fine when left home alone, but car rides are a bit of a mixed bag – she’s a little anxious in the car, but that doesn’t stop her from loving the view! You’ll catch her peeking out the window, taking in the scenery like a seasoned traveler. One thing’s for sure – Riley is a cuddle queen. She’s not shy about showing affection and will make sure you know how important you are (because, obviously, she thinks you are). If you’re looking for a dog who’ll follow you everywhere, love you endlessly, and be the best walking buddy ever, Riley might just be your perfect match.
