Hello humans! Ruby is my name because I'm a gem! I have a soft, affectionate side and an energetic, playful side.
I’m housetrained and get along well with other dogs. I love my walks and have pretty good leash manners, though sometimes I want to chase a squirrel or leaf you can easily call my attention back. I can be leash reactive when meeting other dogs but I’m working on that- so proper introductions are key—but once we're introduced, we can become the best of friends! Despite my size, I’m also gentle and sweet with kids of all sizes. I have good recall and pick up commands well because I am clever and really am such a good girl. I'm also crate trained and I have no problem going in for a treat, settling right away or never making a fuss. I love healthy treats too, like blueberries and cucumbers!
In the house, I'm calm and like to relax and cuddle with my humans. Though, I do kick things into play mode too, and I could just go and go! I adore spending time outdoors and love going for walks!
