Hi there! I’m Zelda, a 13-week-old bundle of fluff, fun, and just a little bit of mischief.
Let’s get the important stuff out of the way: I’m cute. Like, ridiculously cute. I love to play—whether it’s with toys, other dogs, or my favorite humans. My foster mom says I’m “goofy,” whatever that means, but I think it just means I know how to have fun!
I’m still learning all the important puppy things. House training? Getting there! Crate training? I’ll go in, but I won’t pretend to love it. I might whine a bit when I can’t see you, but I’m working on being brave. Speaking of training, I’m also learning that counters aren’t for puppies (who knew?), and I may have been a little too curious about household items that aren’t technically toys. But with guidance, I’m figuring it all out!
When it comes to people, I’m a little shy at first. If you’re patient and kind, I’ll warm up to you and show you just how sweet and loving I can be. I tend to follow my foster mom everywhere—just making sure she doesn’t get lost, you know?
I get along great with other dogs and love to cuddle and play with them. I don’t need another dog in my forever home, but having one might help me feel more confident. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them.
I would do best in a home where my humans are around a lot, at least while I gain more confidence. I can get a little anxious when left alone and might voice my concerns (ahem, barking). A fenced yard would be great, but I could also do well in a home without one as long as I get plenty of attention and playtime.
The most important thing to know about me? I will love you with my whole little puppy heart. I just need a patient, gentle family who will let me come out of my shell at my own pace. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and snuggly sidekick, I might be your perfect match!
Love, Zelda
